Concerned with the outcome?

Does your client or their family member have questions about the use of anticoagulants in the Nursing Home setting? These drugs are known as Coumadin and Warfarin and need close monitoring. Have you noticed bruising on your loved ones arms, stomach or legs this may be an indication that the dose of coumadin needs adjusting. Inaccurate dosing do to failure to monitor drug levels in the blood can lead to life threatening situations that may not end well. If you have questions and concerns.

Chart in Real time EMR electronic medical record.

The feature that I have come to like the most on my EMR electronic medical record are the pop up requests for charting triggered by entry of drug or task.  At first I thought this is time consuming but now love it.  No more going back to your paper searching for a blood pressure or temperature, now just simply add it as you go and sign. Problem solved.  Once you get into the habit things go much smoother.  Your thoughts.
